10 Examples Of Anti-Cannabis Propaganda "Advertising"

Until the 1930’s, the U.S. public and doctors generally viewed cannabis as medicine. Narcotics Bureau chief Harry Anslinger believed cannabis was just as bad as hard drugs like heroin and launched a false anti-cannabis propaganda campaign to change the public’s perception. This was some of the first cannabis advertising, or more accurately, anti-cannabis advertising.

We compiled the best and most disgusting examples of this propaganda. As you will see, these graphics are a strange combination of bright colours, sexual material and fear mongering.
