What You Can Expect
The first day of the convention is set to be the Lift&Co. Business Conference; also known as the LCBC. This day features a keynote address on Canadian Cannabis Leadership before sharing the stage with other topics such as laws and compliance, the craft cannabis market, and how to successfully lobby for change. After these, a lunch will be held to give people time to move, shake, toke, and bump elbows before returning to the convention hall for more titillating talks about what plagues the industry. The day ends with an industry reception, to make sure everyone has a chance to get that important business card or LinkedIn connection.
The remaining days of Lift are a mix of both consumer and industry days. During this, countless brands, startups, cultivators, and more open up their booths to speak with all of those canna-curious. From wall to wall, exhibitors will have displays made to create not only curiosity but conversations. After browsing the convention floor, visitors can enjoy the remainder of the speakers and panels with star-studded guests. For the budtenders and retail workers, there will be an extra special after-party, Bud Bash, taking the event series across the country to bring brands and budtenders together for a night of education and fun.
