Cannabis Policy & Industry Momentum

The medical cannabis industry in Germany continues to be the biggest winner of the enactment of the CanG law, thanks to the removal of cannabis from Germany’s Narcotics List. Throughout 2024 and 2025, imports of medical cannabis products to Germany surged, with over 201 tonnes imported in 2025 alone.

Ancillary sectors of Germany’s emerging cannabis industry continue to benefit from the nation’s historic 2024 CanG law, which permits adults to cultivate, possess, and consume personal amounts of cannabis. Companies focused on home cultivation and consumption are experiencing strong growth.

Germany’s cannabis industry is continuing its expansion, including in the adult-use cultivation association sector. As of March 2026, local regulatory authorities had approved 397 adult-use cultivation associations, with hundreds more applications in progress.

Europe’s Largest Cannabis B2B Tradeshow

Competition is increasing across Germany and Europe. ICBC Berlin provides a key opportunity to learn, network, and position your business among industry leaders.

Registration is now open, with early-bird pricing available until March 18th.

Sponsoring or exhibiting at ICBC Berlin offers a direct way to place your brand in front of the global cannabis industry. ICBC has expanded its sponsorship offerings and provides support for exhibitors throughout the process.

Exhibitors also benefit from visibility through the event’s official app, where profiles can be customized to increase exposure. The expo floor is nearly sold out, and companies are encouraged to secure their spots early.
