This Halloween, the historic Parkdale Hall opened its doors for Boo Bash, Bud Bash’s first festive iteration. Bud Bash, and its spooky spinoff, is an industry event for retail workers in cannabis to connect with brands and learn through consumption. This iteration aimed to do some social good, partnering with House of Flowers and using ticket sales to raise money for their cause. The night was full of laughs, frights, and killer cannabis brands. Here’s a recap for those not able to attend.
When the doors opened, hoards of budtenders and other retail workers poured into the hall in their finest costumes for the first leg of the night: sampling. As they entered the venue, they were greeted by the Spinach team, showing off their Spinach Feelz gummies. As they continued in they got to meet the Tantalus Labs team & their BC bud before meeting grnhouse agency, who was playing “Pin the Joint” for prizes! The fun kept going, as a costume contest was held with amazing prizes, such as a goody bag from The Stag Shop!
Continuing through the event, budtenders got to connect with the Mera team, winning prizes from their claw machine as they discussed the best cannabis & concentrates around before boogying over to the dancefloor to enjoy the live DJ. If they danced long enough, they may have even gotten a tap on the shoulder from The Ministry of Sativa’s ambassador, inviting them to the world premiere smoke sesh of their flower soon to hit Ontario.
As people danced the night away, prizes left the main stage for those busting the best moves. If done dancing but still wanting a proper treat, guests had the chance to connect with WeedMe’s team to talk flower & truffles with their amazing representatives. As sampling ended, the bar opened up for party-goers, however, Boo Bash was sure to have options for everyone. The CANN team was handing out samples for those who are California Sober. If peckish, beside the bar was a snack bar with pizza from Cici’s and arts & crafts to keep attendees busy as they took a break from the fun.
This year’s Boo Bash was a smash hit, with hundreds of Budtenders getting together to celebrate the best brands in Canada and the cannabis community. Didn’t get to join the fun this time around?
