Launch Code #8: Leave a Mark That Matters
Rocket Factory didn’t start with a branding exercise. It started in a facility that had already been producing some of the best cannabis in the country — quietly, consistently, and without much fanfare. The name came later, pulled from the founder’s long-standing obsession with rockets, space, and the act of launching projectiles into the air for no real reason beyond curiosity and delight. It stuck because it reflected what was already happening: a place where great cannabis gets made, day in and day out, with care, precision, and pride.

This isn’t creativity for creativity’s sake. It’s a brand born from the work itself, shaped by the people, the product, and the process. We just built the structure to express it clearly. To keep ourselves aligned, we created the Launch Code — eleven principles that guide how Rocket Factory operates. They’re not marketing copy or brand theatre. Most people won’t read them. But they’ll encounter them in everything we do.
We’ve Been Here for Years
Before Rocket Factory had a name, we were supplying the Canadian market with some of its best-selling genetics. If you’ve been in the scene for a while, chances are you’ve smoked Rocket Factory flower, you just didn’t know it.
The team behind this brand has deep roots. We’ve spent years growing, trimming, refining, and delivering for other brands. But now, we’re focused on building our own and doing it our way. No shortcuts, no compromises. Just rare genetics, standout expressions, and a product-first mindset (Launch Code #4: Grow for those that seek quality).

We’re not chasing scale. We’re not following trends. We’re focused on growing the best cannabis we can, building a brand that reflects that commitment, and scaling mindfully — only when we know we can do it without compromising quality. This is a long game. And we’re okay with that.
Built to Outlast the Noise
If you’re reading this, you already know: the Canadian cannabis industry doesn’t give you much room to market. The rules are tight, and most brands end up settling for the best version of the worst idea. But here’s the thing: marketing is restricted. Branding isn’t.

That’s why we created Popular Cannabis — our ongoing digital and print project dedicated to cannabis culture, thought, and opinion. It’s our platform for saying what we think, highlighting what matters, and documenting what’s happening inside the factory and across the industry. All within the rules — more or less (Launch Code #5: Question the rules, respect the framework).
We hope you like what we get up to.
