For the ADCANN Advertising Awards 2019, the majority of Canadian cannabis companies have more than 12 months of recreational sales under their belt. Real brands have started to emerge. We’ve seen how these companies have navigated the regulatory landscape successfully and unsuccessfully. We are excited to examine which cannabis brands had the most creative marketing and advertising for their flower, capsule and oil products.
Additionally, the cannabis industry in the United States is more exciting than ever. Michigan is gearing up to be a full-fledged recreational adult-use market. In the past year, Missouri and Utah have approved ballots to legalize medical cannabis, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Hawaii decriminalized cannabis through state legislature and Illinois legalized cannabis for recreational use. American cannabis and CBD brands are slowly becoming household names. The topic of federal legalization in the U.S. is being discussed more than ever before.
